John Swisher, DO, CAQ, FAAFP, is a primary care provider at MercyOne North Iowa Family and Sports Medicine.
“I enjoy taking care of all aspects of your health care needs in true family medicine style,” said John. “I help investigate what may be causing you discomfort and provide solutions.”
John received his bachelor’s degree at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, and his medical school degree at Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. John completed his residency at University of Iowa and MercyOne North Iowa. His fellowship was completed at University of Minnesota.
“As a primary care provider I have the opportunity to care for you with the most up-to-date means,” said Dr. Swisher. “I’m by your side when you experience the positives and stresses of life.”
“I chose MercyOne because I can work hand-in-hand with specialists who value primary care, are readily available and close to home,” said John. “I also enjoy the opportunity to be a part of medical resident and medical student education.”
John serves as the team physician for the Mason City Riverhawks and North Iowa Area Community College sports teams.
